An engineer who still builds.
I'm Saeid Manhooei. Most people call me Alex.
I'm Saeid Manhooei. Most people call me Alex.

I'm a principal engineer. My career has run through Google, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Chewy, Abercrombie & Fitch and Target, mostly designing the systems that sit under products people use every day.
As a principal-level individual contributor, I sit in interview loops, review promotion packets, give calibration input and set technical direction. That vantage point is where The Manhooei Method comes from: the mechanics that decide careers, explained by someone close to them.
Outside that work, I write books on AI and engineering and build small apps of my own. Manhooei Solutions Lab is the home for all of it, and for the consulting I take on.
